Run PVADN directly on LG webOS TVs with saved activation, playlist refresh, usage reporting, and package update checks.
What You Need
- LG TV running webOS
- Developer Mode app or managed deployment workflow
- Internet connection
- Your 6-digit PVADN company code
Installation Steps
Use the package workflow for LG webOS deployment.
1. Download the .ipk
Download the PVADN webOS package from this page.
2. Enable LG Developer Mode
Open the Developer Mode app on the TV and connect it to your LG developer account.
3. Install the Package
Use webOS Studio or webOS CLI to install the downloaded `.ipk` package onto the TV.
4. Activate Playback
Launch PVADN Player and enter your 6-digit company code to start playback.
Update Behavior
The app checks a fixed PVADN update manifest and alerts the user when a newer package is available.
What Happens
The app compares its packaged version against the latest published manifest at `https://pvadn.com/webos-tv-client/latest.json`.
How To Update
If a newer version exists, the app prompts the user to open the download page and install the new `.ipk` package using the normal webOS deployment flow.
